About the role

As an Inside Sales & Freight Operations Specialist, you play a key role in managing international logistics flows while maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners. You combine operational expertise with a commercial mindset to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality transport solutions.

You will be responsible for both import and export shipments (air & ocean), while supporting procurement activities and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments (air & ocean) from A to Z
• Manage daily communication with customers, carriers, and international agents
• Handle rate requests, quotations, and procurement of transport services
• Ensure accurate shipment documentation and customs compliance (Incoterms, IATA regulations, etc.)
• Monitor and optimize transport flows based on cost, timing, and customer needs
• Provide proactive customer service and follow-up on shipments
• Ensure correct data input and administration in operational systems
• Support invoicing processes and ensure alignment with agreed rates
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains

Your profile

• You have experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations (air and/or ocean)
• You are proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Strong communication skills and a true team player
• You can manage multiple priorities and work accurately under deadlines
• Good understanding of import/export procedures, customs, and documentation
• You are commercially aware and comfortable with pricing and negotiation
